CBT Youth aims to provide a positive Shul experience in a fun and educational environment that encourages a commitment to Yahadut (Judaism), tefillah (prayer), limud Torah (torah learning), and contributing to the community, while also nurturing friendships.

The Youth Department also runs a variety of fun and meaningful programs throughout the year including holiday celebrations that enable the children to participate and celebrate as part of the Shul community with family and friends.

Shabbat groups meet weekly from 9:45am-11:30am on the lower level. Groups offer a platform for children of all backgrounds to safely engage in Jewish life along side peers through interactive experiences rooted in enjoyable educational activities. A typical Shabbat morning incorporates Tefillah, stories, play-time, group activity and snacks.  Children are divided into different groups by grade. All groups are staffed by teen group leaders who are supervised by our Youth Director.

We welcome your feedback. Please contact our Youth Director/Youth Committee at youth@cbtparamus.org with any comments or suggestions or if you’d like to get involved.

The Youth Committee,

Naomi Burton, Natalie Jonas, Shoshana Sperling, Lisa Silberberg, Talya Safier
