Hospitality

Congregation Beth Tefillah offers a wide range of services and support to its members and the community. The Chesed Committee is responsible for arranging meals using
during Shiva, after a birth, due to surgery, or in any time of need. They also coordinate rides for elderly members, Shabbat visitors to those who might be alone, and bikur cholim.  

The Hospitality Committee is committed to helping make Congregation Beth Tefillah a welcoming and warm community.  Members of our community regularly open their homes to visitors and members of the community for Shabbat meals. If you are interested in coming to see all that Paramus has to offer, please contact us so we set you up with our wonderful members for sleeping and meal arrangements. 

In addition, we also organize 2 to 4 hospitality Shabbatons per year, to help all members get to know each other and meet new people.

This past year we hosted our first Yachad Shabbaton! Thank you to the many families and individuals for opening your homes and contributing to make the weekend with Yachad meaningful. The shabbaton was special for many reasons but most importantly it is unifying and inclusive, two great values of CBT! We look forward to continuing our relationship with Yachad.
