CBT 51st Annual Dinner 2021

The Allan Bloomberg Community Service Award:
Rachel & Ben Shachar

Rachel and Ben Shachar

Since Rachel and Ben Shachar joined CBT in 2015, they have played an integral role in the continued growth and unity of our community.

Despite their busy lives as a family of five humans, three cats and a baby on the way, the Shachar family continues to dedicate an enormous amount of time and energy to the development of CBT.

Rachel and Ben serve as role models for community engagement, leading the Paramus Friendship Circle team to success each year.  In her role as the head of the hospitality committee, Rachel has shown a dedication to connecting with prospective families and ensuring a comfortable transition for those new to Paramus.  Ben is a long standing CBT board member, and most notably serves as captain of the Paramus Wild Turkeys Ice Hockey Team.

Over the past six years the Shachar family has invested an unyielding dedication to the unity of CBT.  They are proud to be a part of our diverse and supportive community. Please join us in thanking the Shachars for all they’ve done and continue to do.
